Spring of '78 brought the first show of Van Halen's first World Tour to the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. After years of playing the California club scene, Eddie, David, and the boys were ready to rock the world. How fitting it was that the tour began at the historic Aragon. The album was Runnin' with the Devil and the world would never be the same.

Note: Even though on-line sources list the show on this date, we doubt that this date is correct. We now believe it was April 26, 1979 and have a stub submitted as proof. We will likely be changing this soon.
